 My students worked in Canva to complete this February task. They chose a design that reminded them of superheroes and they had fun with graphics and fonts. A great activity to improve their digital literacy!

  February assignment - SAFER INTERNET DAY 2022 We used a storyline to introduce the concept of internet safety. The children were familiarized with the dangers lurking in the digital space and we discussed important rules they need to follow. For evaluation the students played a game in which known story characters were placed in different situations in which they had to practice internet safety, so students had to give them solutions to their problems, thus reviewing the internet browsing safety rules. Our concept map involved an acronym that means "secure" in English. For every letter, we had an important rule to follow.

 

We contributed to our collaborative work on Canva.

We created our visual arts and coding works related to safe internet. Using Web2 tool Jamboard, we created our Safer Internet Board.

We created our concept map about safer internet by making a zoom meeting. We created our concept map using Web2 tool, Creately.
